Each year Prevent Child Abuse Athens relies more and more on private donations to provide our important services to children and families and in 2011 and beyond it is even more important, with PCAA's loss of a major grant in October 0f 2009. PCAA is committed to making your donations work hard for the people we serve by keeping our administrative costs exceptionally low so that an overwhelming percentage goes to our programs. In fact, for our fiscal year that ended June 30, 2010, administrative costs were just 12.7%, meaning almost 88% of our budget went to directly work for families and children!
Many ask how they may make donations online; this page is how. We use PayPal because it is friendly to non-profits and they offer us the lowest banking charges associated with credit card transactions, which is in line with our policy of having as much of your donation go to program services as possible.
